Price version
An immutable snapshot of a plan price. New subscriptions get the current one; existing subscriptions keep theirs.
A price version is a frozen set of prices for a plan. Repricing creates a new version rather than editing the old one.
This is what makes grandfathering a configuration rather than a project. Existing subscriptions keep pointing at the version they were sold; new ones point at the current version; and both can be invoiced by the same cycle without a special case.
It is also what makes an old invoice reproducible. If prices are edited in place, an invoice from eighteen months ago cannot be regenerated, and that is a problem the first time an auditor asks.
