Fewer overdue invoices, less manual chase.
Know what is owed, and who is chasing it.
Track receivables, automate follow up and close out overdue balances.
What you get
Receivables, worked rather than watched.
Ageing, ownership and the next action on one screen, so overdue balances get chased on a schedule instead of at month end.
Ageing by entity
Standard ageing buckets per legal entity, consolidated in your reporting currency.
Ranked worklist
The queue is ordered by how likely each balance is to be recovered, not by invoice date.
Automated follow up
Reminder and escalation sequences that stop the moment the invoice is settled.
Promise to pay
Record a date and an amount, and the invoice leaves the queue until that date.
Part payments
Settle part of a balance and keep the remainder on its original ageing.
Disputes and write-off
Park a disputed line, or write it off with an audit trail and an approval.
Ranked, not sorted
The queue starts with the balance most likely to land.
Occurly reads payment history, ageing, contact response and the size of the balance, and puts the account worth calling first at the top. Sorting by oldest invoice puts the least collectable balance at the top of every list.
- Ranked by likelihood to recover
- Owner on every balance
- Reason recorded for every ranking
Drafted, then approved
The follow up is written for you, not sent for you.
Occurly drafts the next message with the invoice, the ageing and the history already in it. A person reads it and sends it. Nothing reaches a customer without review, which is the line finance teams actually want held.
- Draft message per balance
- Approval before anything sends
- Sequence stops the moment it is paid
One platform
Works with the rest of Occurly.
FAQ
Collections questions.
How is collections different from dunning?
Dunning recovers a payment that failed on a card or a bank debit. Collections chases an invoice that was issued and never paid, which is a receivables problem: ageing, ownership, promises to pay and part payments. Most businesses need both, and in Occurly they read from the same invoice.
What does Occurly decide, and what do we decide?
Occurly ranks the worklist, proposes the next action and drafts the message. A person approves it. Nothing is sent to a customer without review, and every suggestion records the reason it was made.
Can we track promises to pay and part payments?
Yes. A promise to pay carries a date and an amount and moves the invoice out of the active worklist until that date. Part payments settle against the invoice and the remaining balance keeps its original ageing.
Does ageing work across entities?
Ageing is reported per legal entity and consolidated into your reporting currency, so a group view and an entity view never disagree about what is outstanding.
