Catalog
Product catalog
The structured set of products, plans, prices, add-ons and entitlements a business sells.
The catalog is the definition of everything sellable: products, plans, price versions, add-ons and the entitlements attached to each.
A catalog earns its keep when a pricing change is a configuration change. If launching a new plan requires engineering work, the catalog is not modelling the business, it is describing one particular past state of it.
The test is simple: can you add a plan, reprice an existing one without touching current subscribers, and see which customers are on which version, without deploying anything.
