How to migrate your billing to Occurly

A step-by-step guide to moving plans, customers, subscriptions and historical invoices to Occurly without skipping a billing cycle.

Migrating billing sounds scary because billing is the one system you cannot get wrong. This guide walks through a safe cutover: model your catalog, import customers and subscriptions, reconcile in parallel, then switch invoicing over on a cycle boundary.

  1. Map your current plans, add-ons and prices to the Occurly catalog.
  2. Import customers, payment methods and active subscriptions.
  3. Backfill historical invoices for reporting continuity.
  4. Run a parallel cycle and reconcile.
  5. Cut over invoicing and decommission the old system.
